Who we are

Designer Digital HQ (ddhq.app) is the internal operations dashboard of Designer Digital, a web design studio in Alberta, Canada. It is used by Designer Digital staff only. There is no public sign up.

Signing in with Google

The only way in is Google sign in plus a code from an authenticator app. When you sign in with Google we receive the basics Google shares: your name, email address and profile picture. We use them for one thing, to confirm you are a person who is allowed into this dashboard. Accounts that are not on our allow list are refused and nothing about them is kept.

We do not read your Gmail, calendar, contacts or anything else in your Google account. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What the dashboard holds

The dashboard shows Designer Digital's own business records: outreach campaigns, the businesses we have researched as prospective clients, replies to our outreach, and the health of the systems that produce them. Business contact details on those records come from public business listings and websites. Anyone who would rather not hear from us can write to contact@designerdigital.ca and we will remove them and not contact them again.

Where data lives

• Sign in and the database run on Supabase.
• The dashboard runs on Vercel.
• Outreach email is sent through Instantly. Email addresses are checked with MillionVerifier before any mail goes out.

Each of these providers only receives what it needs to do its job for us.

What we never do

• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not use it for advertising.
• We do not use Google sign in data for anything except signing you in.

How long we keep it

Sign in records last as long as the staff account exists. Sessions expire after seven days or one day of inactivity, whichever comes first. Business records are kept while they are useful to our outreach and removed on request.

If this policy changes in a way that matters we will update the date at the top of this page.
